450d mod

Hi folks i was wondering if anybody knows of any place or person who would do or does the mods for a canon 450d here in australia any feedback would be great short of that there are several places in the states cheers paul.

Have heard it's quite expensive to get done in Australia, a lot of people do it them selves. I did my 350D a few weeks ago and it's really easy to do, if you want replacement filters they aren't to hard to get ether.

I recently did my third mod on a 1000D. I took a different approach, removing both factory fitted filters and fitting an Astronomik UV/IR clip-in filter from Bintel. Auto focus works fine.

May one ask, is the 550d similarly easy ? Is there a step by step guide on the internet somewhere ?

He has guides on pretty much all Canon DSLRs here. Also check youtube for videos by Gary and others.
