Man vs Food

Full moon, got the place to myself for a few days, so lets have some culinary fun

btw, the food won. Still sweating this thing out 18 hours later lol I feel like an over inflated balloon, don't think I'll be eating for like the next 2 days!

I didn't eat a single thing the whole day, I made this in the evening, I managed 2/3rds of it before I had to quit! And still, 1 day later, I can't actually face any food!!!!

Caramalised onions mate, it's just bloody tops! The taste was epic to say the least!

Here is the blueprint for this recipe. I never expected the real life burger to actually look like the highly exaggerated drawing though

lmao I actually felt like dying most of today, but that was probably more due to the several beers and bourbons I consumed before going to bed at 5am

Still am not hungry and it's been 24 hours since I demolished this bad boy.

kiddies, this is not something you eat on a regular basis.... once a month, yeah...

It's got some Jalapenos, which is a vegetable, so therefore by definition this burger is healthy

Here is tonight's encore performance:

that's it I'm done eating for the rest of the year lol

Calorie-wise, this makes the HJ Double Whopper look like diet fodder

Now, a few corrections. Jalapenos - and all chillis and capsicum are FRUIT, not vegetables

And American mustard. You seriously had me having awe until I saw AMERICAN MUSTARD. That vile, sweet "mustard" that pretends to be a mustard. English my man, ENGLISH mustard. Anything else is just yellow lettuce seeds ground with water

Hey, Sab, would you like some Bhut Jolika chillies for your next full moon sortie? Will be a while as I've just sown the seeds. Which is probably just as well as you're gonna need a couple of months to recover. If you're too much of a whimp for the Bhuts, Habaneros instead? Either one will put hair on your eyeballs...

Just one word of caution with these two chillies, DON'T COOK THEM INDOORS!!! They WILL kill you...

Still, your pics have given me the munchies,

Bhut is kinda hot.. manageable, but hot I have some sauce prepared from them - one drop is usually sufficient. Their Scoville rating is impressive

My munchie treat is an odd one, but a favourite, but only if there is no bacon around. Tinned tuna, old mature cheddar and english mustard melt sandwich. MMMMMMMMMM. Demolishing 2 right now.

Which means it's still healthy I have to admit, I know sweet FA about anything to do with vegetables LOL

I usually get English mustard, but for some reason my local Woolies don't stock it and I really couldn't be bothered to make an extra stop at Coles. But I like the taste of that "American" mustard so no huge deal for me. Still prefer the English mustard though.

Oh nice! One of things I want to do is grind fresh Nagas into my sauce. I do have a bottle of Dave's Naga Jolokia chilli sauce which is supposedly 100 times hotter than Jalapenos and about 3-6 times hotter than a Habanero (depending on the variety). 650,000 scolville units of pure pain One time I put a heaped tablespoon of it in my Buffalo wing sauce mixture and could see my breath in a 16C room My brother tasted it and he refused to offer it to his boss whom he hates. His reason, he doesn't want to be responsible for killing anyone

One of my friends has challenged me to a hot wing cookoff at my boss's next party... I will make that bugger cry for his mummy....
