Dragon's Head & Blue Cheezel, LMC.
What a great area to image in the LMC!!
I was going to image NGC 1955, but decided on NGC 2032 ( Dragons Head ) and 2020 ( Blue cheezel ) that's what I call it.
Seeing wasn't great but I'm happy with the colours that have come through.
I found this amazing image of the LMC.

A great reference if you want to do some imaging of the many nebulae.
8 minute subs. ISO 1600, 128 minutes.
Equipment used.
8" F/4 astrograph , baader type coma corrector,. HEQ Pro 5 mount, orion mini guider.
Camera.
Unmodded Cannon 1100D.
Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker.
Processed in Photoshop 7.
Cheers,
Justin.

Lovely image and creative names, Justin
Here's another useful resource for the SMC and LMC maintained by a fellow IISer:

That image is great, colourful and very motivating.
I can't wait to get a better view to the south and get some SMC & LMC objects as well.
Currently I have a small hill in the way with a couple of trees on the neighbours block, and I need power to run the beast from the shed.
Next on my list is to clear the pad on the other side of the gully.

Thanks Justin!
Yes it would be nice to have unobstructed views. Must be a trial to shift the 16" around.
Cheers,
Justin.
