New Thor's Helmet from last night

Try Thor's Helmet again last night. Switched off houselights, shot down street lights (j/k). Not giving up! Hope it doesn't look like a snail again lol. This time can actually see abit of the wings. Colours from the helmet are natural without adjustments. 22 x 1 minute 40 sec exposure.

Might have another go at it without the IR Filter tonight

hey a snail!!!

well done the snail nebulae......what oh sorry, wheres the backspace....arrrrgh.

Well done, the maestros were mentioning that ir filter, so, i wonder if you can combine. is the scope still set up with the dsi still firmly locked in place??

I am afraid my compliments have gone past being words of encouragement to words of thanks for posting a great image.

Boy are you hooked and for good reason (ie great results), look out wallet, ed80, canon dslr 5d modified, sbig guidescope, paramount mount, no sleep!!!!

Yes good shot, Thors wings are visible. I reckon they will be even more visible without the IR filter, I think you will fined a lot of Ha light will come through, adding red to Thors wings
