Nice image, how about a comparison between your Lunt and PST?
Or DMK and DSLR? Cheers, John W.

Hi John,

Here is a comparison between PST DSLR and LUNT DMK from Sunday. Both the PST and LUNT will show much finer detail with the Imaging source cameras than with a DSLR (in my hands anyway).

I like the PST DSLR combo on workdays and the LUNT DMK for when I have more time to spare. Imaging and processing with the PST and DSLR (I use an alt-az AZ3 mount. Probably would get better results if I used an Equatorial mount but alt-az is so convenient) takes about 30 minutes in total, gives a reasonable result and I get to observe the Sun visually as well.

Hi Richard, Thanks for the comparison. These are always useful, esp. when taken at the same time. Cheers. John W.
