At the moment I will take it at face value. If it is true how long before the oil companies buy the technology and bury it?

If you google it, it seems that the Japanese inventor's device is basically a small scale portable version of technology that's already in place, so it is definitely fair dinkum which is fantastic.

But you're right - if there's money in it ...
