Hi Res Lunar Fun 13th Aug

Hi All

First time in ages I have attempted to do some lunar imaging. Last time I tried was with a DSLR and I was not that happy with the results.

For this image, it is the first time I have used my DMK41 camera that I typically use for solar work. I am pleased with the result.

Taken with my C11, DMK41 and 2.5x powermate and good seeing.

Thanks.
Ted

Nice one Ted! I'd almost give money to see you get a DSLR result like this A wise camera choice

Nice going Ted. Looks like you have Moretus fair in the middle of the frame.

A great result Ted. I really like how you've delivered a large gamut of highlights and shadows.

Yes John you would battle with a single frame DSLR and be lucky enough to grab some great seeing.

Thank you Paul. I never got around to figuring out the name.

Thanks Peter, always a challenge given the range presented in the scene.
