Mega Solar Filament Sunday

Hi All

Another H-Alpha image of the large filament that has been gracing the sun over several days. Taken with the Lunt80, 5X barlow and DMK41 camera. Thanks.

Very nice Ted. You must have had some nice seeing to capture that. We have had ratty seeing here for weeks, so nothing like this is available. Well done.

Thanks Paul. Funnily enough I did not think the seeing was that good, however the stacking result looked good and I am happy with the processed result. As I have said elsewhere, I can't count the number of times that I thought the live capture seemed to have very good seeing to only find the stacked and processed result sucked!
