Stupid threads

Of late there has been a large increase in the number of threads that are way off topic, or even totally ludicrous, such as polls on 'What do you think about (whatever conspiray theory the author favours)' or your thoughts on immigration, or how many spots you've got on you bum, or whatever.
I know I could just ignore them, but really, is IIS the place for a few web-bound individuals to waffle on about tripe?
Maybe I should post a poll, What do you think about crap threads......
Maybe I should just ignore them.....

Cheers,
Jason.

I'm sure all threads don't suit all individuals, a bit like TV, don't look,

Ah, good to see nothing has changed

There always has, & always will be so called 'stupid threads' in forums. Depends on ones interpretation of 'stupid' I guess.

Just ignore them mate

It does tend to wax and wane over time.
As the new members become old timers and then we get a whole new crop of newbies full of enthusiasm, injecting new life into the forum.
I love following their progress.

Unfortunately it's too easy to just say "ignore them". That's not the solution.
