Nicely captured, but I have never seen sun dogs that shape before. The sun dogs that I've seen look to be 180 degrees apart and are the bright spots that lie at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock on a circle surrounding the Sun. What you observed seems to be curved outwards wrt the Sun.

I saw an email recently where they call this a 'fire rainbow'. Never heard it called that before but I know it is rare. Nice shots and congratulations on catching it!
