Thanks Greg. No, I haven't bought a 6D yet. I was borrowing a friend's (and actually he'd borrowed it too, to test it out).
I don't believe buying a new DSLR is a good value proposition for me right now. The 7D does a good job and I love using it. If I were to suddenly decide I have the time to drive all over the countryside taking spectacular wide-field's I would probably jump at it, but doubt that'll happen before the successor to 6D and 7D are released
