I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss it.
The A380 also rode turbulence extremely well. I recall on a LAX-MEL sector feeling some light chop on descent into Tullamarine.
Rather than get off and have an overnight in Melbourne, we could passenger straight through to Sydney....and have an extra, albeit weary day, at home...this usually meant a domestic pax sector on a 737 to Sydney.
That "light chop" was anything but light in the 737! Jessuswepped! the "light twin" got hammered on the climb out. Thought to myself: Big is good
