Orion 31/10/21

This wasn’t my intended target for the night, but I saw it there around 1am and thought I’d do an hour or so.
Taken with Ed100 + .85 reducer. Asi533mc.
32 2min subs. Gain 101
Also did a widefield at the same time with the At65edq and Nikon d5300.

what did you use to edit this? Good detail in the core,. Keen to see the widefield when you have a chance!

That is excellent in my view, I only hope I van do half as good when (if) I start imaging again.

Adam, I used startools for processing.for some reason the auto dev and wipe worked really well this time.
I’m sure there is more to reveal.

Thanks, Steve. I thought so! StarTools has a very distinctive output, especially in the red channel.
