Near Storm

We nearly got a big storm last night:

So what am I doing wrong, all of my images are below 200KB?

The images all appear in the preview window.

I guess it's the (2304x1536).jpg bit that's killing me?

OK, so I'm an ID-10-T, my son just showed me the manage attachments thingie, probably AGAIN......

Thanks Steve!

I would have gotten some stunning shots but my CF card was full (I had no idea) and could only find a 16GB SD which was nearly full out of MANY SD cards I have which should be on my camera shelf with my gear but weren't.
As it was standing outside with my son I saw the most amazing lightning I've ever seen, grabbed my son and said "we better get inside and fast". I don't think I've ever seen lightning that close and I've taken a lot of lightning shots over the years. It usually doesn't scare me.
Though I did have the option of popping the dunny window screen off and setting my tripod up in there to continue photographing had I found a card in time.
I'll have that sorted today, I'm a little annoyed.........

That may well have been the ideal place to be if you were getting close strikes mate! Those photos are superb.

Good catches, tricky stuff getting close sparks, always quite ' hit & miss' at that range,,
Great stuff...
