Skywatcher 2pin DC power connector

wanted a second power cable for my Skywatcher EQ6R mount, and borked at the $$$ pre made cables from the usual suspects online.

a search found this store in metro melbourne, and $2.20 and a bit of wire later, I have another power cable

https://www.makerstore.com.au/produc...ale-connector/

no connection with the above, just a happy customer who solved a problem for reasonable money!

Nice, these connectors seem pretty hard to find. I always end up with the larger size.

Agreed that these are hard to find. Got mine from Makerstore too - so cheap (and that price is for both the male and female parts).

Jaycar only has the next size up. At a glance they look like they’re the right size…but they’re not lol.

Purchased 15 pairs of these a month or so ago, planning to change most of my connectors to these & get rid of the lighter plugs. Putting together a battery box setup to mount a number of connections on - these, anderson, dc, usb etc to power anything I may need from a 100-120AH battery.
