CLS filter

Yesterday I was recommended and purchased the Astronomik CLS - CCD filter for the Canon 60Da.

I knew the CLS was for unmodified and the CLS - CCD was for modified but as I have the 60Da and wasn't to sure, I asked the shop attendant and he recommend the CCD

After reading a post today I see that the CLS would have been fine.

My question is, other than the $40 is there any other advantage in driving back and exchanging to the CLS filter?

So its a clip in EOS, well CLS is just pure clear and doesn't block any spectrum, where did you get one for $40?

well looks like i'am wrong the ccd is a LP filter not a cls http://www.astronomik.com/en/photogr...cd-filter.html there cls also does but different spectrums.

Lol was thinking of the mc

Well you got the best one for imaging in light pollution Haven't checked all the data and response graphs agaisnt each other but its sort of states the cls is a budget and there ccd is aimed at the high end. If you read the specs and response it will make a lot more sense. Nice filter, can you post some with and without comparisons
