SkyShed Pod

Hi all,

As many may know Telescope & Astronomy who were the importers for these product are no longer open due to the passing of Matthew.

He tried with me for more than two years to get items out of Canada, unfortunately they were very rarely willing to send items to him unless he had large orders.

We currently have no avenue for spare parts and after dealing directly with them along with Matthew I think it will be hard to work with them without an importer.

Matthew did work hard to assist where he could and shared with me an Australian supplier who can make the dome cover for us.

I have purchased one of these and they are of very good quality.

I will not post the company name here as not all suppliers like this.

If anyone has a leaking pod like myself and requires a cover please PM me for the details.

Clear Skies
Carl

Carl
I am so sorry to hear this. He worked with me for almost 5 years(!) to get a cover from Canada and in Sept 24 he sent me one from the same supplier as you from Australia to the UK. A very nice guy.

I have recently installed my cover, but I'm wondering how you affixed it to your SkyShedPod. Can I PM you about it?

Please see images of the cover fitted. The eyelets do not align perfectly but they work great with 4x Bungees. No more leaks

Thanks Carl, much appreciated. Your cover is exactly like mine so it must be the same manufacturer. I'll stick with the bungees I think, they seem to hold the cover on OK (even in stormy UK winter weather)
