This is a poor image of NGC6744. However what impressed me was, with a little editing and tweaking in Siril and Photoshop, I could extract a basic image from about 50 mins of crappy subs taken under a bright moon that I had initially considered a wasted effort. I can even pick out NGC6744's small companion galaxy - its a small vertical 'smudge' to the bottom right of the galaxy. Another lesson learnt - don't delete anything! Alex
You have done very well. I personally enjoy taking poor data and making the best out of it as there are many nights where the bin seems the only option...but these times you learn more a bout your processing software and that can't be a bad thing.

Thanks AdamJL, Dave and Alex. I really enjoyed the process of digging an imagine out of poor data … I agree with you Alex, it’s a great way to (re)learn the usefulness of histograms and get stuck into some image editing software. Alex
