Ngc1365

Haven't done a lot in recent months, but finally managed a couple of clear nights. NGC1365 in RGB (ended up not using the Lum data!) 16x5min subs in each channel. Scope is a Celestron Edge HD 8" with 0.7 reducer mounted on Orion Atlas AZ EQ G mount, ASI1600MM Pro camera with OAG and Baader 36mm RGB filters. Preprocessing and processing in Pixinsight.

Nice colour coming through in those arms. Wondering why you didn’t use the lum data? Perhaps if the conditions were good some lum data may give some finer detail in that central bar?
