NGC 456 and 602 groups in the SMC (Erat difficile videre)

2 panel mosaic of this collection of very faint nebula hovering off the main bulge of the SMC.

Done in a Foraxx HOO blend, Ha luminance, RGB stars.

Ackbar might say we planned it this way all along!

Around 83 hrs in all.

A brilliant image. All that hard work paid off big time.

Great, grand looking panorama Adam, excellent

Got a good name for it too, channelling Macbeth..."Bubble, bubble toil and trouble"

I just love this Adam. I admire how you manage to get such deep detail and colour but processing looks like you hardly had to push it at all. Also, that panoramic framing is just superb.

PS-(Had to google translate your title lol)

What an image! Its one of those shots where you just don't know where to look next, which tells me that there is interesting bits everywhere! the only down side to that is that it leaves me wishing the field was a degree wider at each edge!

Masterfully done!

Thanks alot guys, this one definitely tried my patience. Didnt realise just how faint the targets were till I was already pot-committed, plus I went in all along with a mosaic in mind and just wanted to see how it would come together. Needless to say I'll only attempt to shoot outlier nebula in the SMC going forward once there's a much faster scope in the shed.

Glad you liked the result, this one was a fair bit of pain - hence the naming
