Lunar shots on 12 December 2010

Hi All,

Registax was really playing up so I had to use AVIStack. Still a very good program just having a few colour issues not sure if it my images or the program. Regstax though was dying too much possibly due to the higher resolution.

Managed to capture some lunar widefield and narrow-field shots generally in fairly poor seing. The focus controller helped immensly though but my Jupiter shot were just horrible.

Widefield shots

I know the last one is upside down will fix this but not just now. I have also update some text on each shot.

Narrowfield

I may reduce the size of these as they seem to be quite large but are of the correct recorded AVI reolution. The seeing was quite poor so final images are a bit noisy.

Happy viewing.

The wide shots look very nice Malcolm. They don't suffer from the conditions like the closups.

Have to agree, the wideshots are done without a barlow either. Just ran it to max resolution.

I think I need really good seeing to get better close ups.

Reduced the closeups by 50%
