QHY163c cooled OSC

For sale is my QHY163c cooled OSC. It has the color version of the same chip as in the ZWO ASI1600 camera.
My experience with this camera is overwhelmingly positive, I had some connectivity issues with acquisition software but installing the correct drivers from QHY website corrected that.

I bought this camera used right here on IIS 1-1/2 years, i'm selling it with the original box, a dust cap, USB 3.0 cable and the 12v power cable it came with (no adaptor sorry). If you need an M42 to 1.25 inch adaptor I can provide that free of charge.

For specifications please see: https://agenaastro.com/qhy-163c-cool...a-qhy163c.html

- QHY163C cooled 16-Megapixel color astronomy camera ideal for serious deep-sky imaging
- 4/3” cooled CMOS sensor with small 3.8um pixels in a 4656x3522 array
- Two-stage cooling keeps sensor temperature as much as 45C below ambient for low-noise imaging, even in warm conditions
- 128MB DDRII data buffer to minimize data dropouts during image transfer
- Reduced amp-glow for superior imaging of faint objects

This camera is discontinued but when new it was around $1300 Australian. I'm selling it for a steeply discounted price of $750 including postage within Australia

Some images taken with this camera are attached.
Please note that I tend to do short EAA sessions with no guiding and little to no calibration frames (only darks were applied, no flats or bias) plus my collimation skills are sub-par at best and I do very little post-processing. So if there's anything good about the images its only because of the camera

Selling to fund upgrades

If anyone required darks taken with this camera please ask. I can take other bench tests and post results here also.

Thanks for looking
Cheers
Ahmed

Can also be used as a planetary camera

Someone pm'ed me to say upload more pics from this camera so i'm uploading some planetary with this camera. Pictures taken with a Celestron C9.25 at it's native FL of 2350mm. I didn't have a motorized focuser so my focus is bleh

Also attached is a 5 min stack of M42 using the Optolong L enhance filter and a short FL refractor.......just to show sensitivity of this camera.

I will be sad to see it go but I have an upgrade in the plans so it has to go

Thanks for looking
