Very nice Martin!
I too prefer the first image with the more traditional palette.

Nice work Martin. Good to see you getting amongst it with a busy moon about. I go with the first image as my preference as well

Great shot Martin and another interesting framing. The dew and seeing has been quite frustrating up in Sydney as well recently and even the last couple of nights trying to shoot in ‘clear’ skies and when you look outside it’s just a haze. Makes the final result all the more rewarding when you can finally pull it all together! Well done!

Nice pic, I really like it. There's nothing like finding a commonly imaged target, and then using a longer focal length to highlight an interesting part. It gives very really nice different perspective. Of the three, I also prefer the standard SHO version.

Thanks Gents,
Appreciate all the comments
Carina is such a beautiful nebula when you get in nice and close ( but not too close ) The 1250mm focal length on my 10” is ideal for these sort of outer region images.
Also very impressed with the 2600MM and the Antlia 3nm filters under a full moon too, they are damn good filters but not at a ridiculous price.
It seems like every time I want to image galaxies from my Dome under dark skies the bloody weather sets in
You take what you can get when skies are clear regardless of the Moon

Cheers
Martin
