I have had old camera's loaned to me and use to buy the odd throw away one..
So I thought i might just buy a decent one...I didnt mind it not being an SLR but i still wanted one that could do more than i can so I wanted one that I could use when I learnt more about taking photo's...
I bought a Fujifilm Finepix S1000fd...
I have a friend who is into photography and about a year ago we discussed what i should look for, then a couple of months ago I seen one advertised at Target, checked it out and went online and found that it was what he had suggested...
12x optical zoom and a 10 megapixel ccd..
All for $299..
When I rocked up to his place with it and showed him, he jumped on the phone and told a couple of his mates to go get one, it made me feel good that he recommended it to others...
Now all I need is a tripod, I shake too much for photos that need steady hands...
These are probably the better of the photos I took tonight, pity about the cloud and the lack of ability to take photo's on my part, but hey, its actually my very first time I have taken any photos on the moon and I am trying out all the settings on the camera(there are dozens and i tried only but a few so far)...
Tripod and more skill would do better, and hopefully living on the farm soon will even make life just that little bit cosier...
I will even be able to justify a telescope maybe(yes still havent got one yet, some people take time to learn)...
