Over the past fortnight I have been building a 150mmf/8 Solar Newtonian. I've been trying to test it out for over a week now but our rotten Brisbane weather has been against me. Today I managed around 10 minutes imaging in a gusty wind before the clouds rolled over.
This image was taken with my ASI290mm at prime focus, on my Solar Newtonian using an EQ3 pro mount.
Thanks Ken and Gerard, in all it took me a few days to make up , I made a drilling template and a jig for setting it up. and modified a cheshire for collimation.
