Talking Supermoon

So the full "super pink media hype" moon is in full force tonight.

But its a clear night and just need to be out there...

Here's a stacked shot with my Nikon D750 and crap 300mm kit lens.

Frames: 143
Lens: 250mm (I think... backed it off a bit so i could focus a bit more).
Shutter: 1/250
ISO: 100

Used AS!2 (AutoStakkert) and literally just clicked through the auto mode.
Sharpened in GIMP.

Not to shabby Damian

What are all the black bits?

I went for a walk down the beach at 5AM and the moon was bright orange!

Black bits... NFI. Shadows on the craters when it stacked/sharpened/processed probably.

For me, the moon was just ultra bright. I didn't see any pink or orange tinge.

Still, was good to be out there doing, rather than wondering.
