Welcome to IceInSpace.
Should you ever feel the urge to do some observing from far southern
latitudes, you might want to consider joining us at one of the OzSky
Star Safari (aka Deepest South Texas Star Safari) events.
The good news is that you can leave your scope at home.
I am part of a group that volunteers our time to helping host northern
hemisphere observers so that they can enjoy southern skies using
an array of large aperture scopes.
Our next event is this coming April where we have approximately
47 of your fellow countrymen coming down, many of whom have been
before, along with a Canadian on his 5th OzSky trip and an observer
from the Isle of Wight on her second trip.
