Dont know what i saw

G'day all, last night 18/09/2013 at around 7.30 - 7.45, i saw something in the western sky as I was feeding the dishlicker. I happened to look at saturn and noticed to the right and up a bit a misty shape resembling a comet. It had a shortish sort of tail and was quite visible. I could see it moving slowly in an easterly direction, very slowly. As it progressed east it faded and I could only barely make it out. I havent been able to find any info on anything in the sky at that time. Any ideas anyone?
