Finding Yass Valley Astronomical Society

I've discovered that there is a group called Yass Valley Astronomical Society
based at Murrumbateman, near me.

Trouble is, their only apparent form of contact is by Facebook, and I refuse to join that.

Is anybody on IIS a member who can put me in contact? Or someone who knows anything about them- meetings, etc?

Seems silly for me to consider starting a local AS when one apparently exists!

Hi Neville,
Send a PM to Logieberra (Logan Tudor) or issdaol (Phil Robustellini) here on IIS, I think they are running the show.
Cheers
Matt

Hi Neville, thanks for your PM. I’ve replied. As discussed, we do meet up for visual nights and the FB page is active.

All good. You’re not in the Yass region anyways.

My reference was related to social media not Yass Valley Astronomical Society.
Hence quoting a line from Schitt's Creek, a Canadian sitcom.

All good
For anyone in the Yass Valley area, we encourage you to join our Facebook page if that suits. We’ve got over 100 Astro-interest locals on the page (along with some special guests who post great pics, often). We’ve registered our society name and are close to forming an association. I’d like to get a few more members on board, including the likes of Neville and others who are keen to see this thing work in the region
