I have FOR SALE The Orion Intelliscope Object Locator.
This kit is complete and only 6 months old.
It contains: BOTH Altitude & Azimuth encoder boards
: All cabling + the (very hard to get) Brass bushing
: The Intelliscope controller.

I have made improvements to the system.
1. The encoder board is mounted on a altitude arm.
2. Whilst this kit is originally a 9V system, I have mounted (a removable) circuit board in the battery compartment. It has a voltage regulator to allow the 9V contoller to run on a 12V power supply.
If you do not have a power supply for your scope a 9V battery can be used.
Whilst this system is made for the Orion Dobs, I have used this kit on my 12" Lightbridge with great success.
All that is needed are a few simple mods to your alt-az mount.
The tools necessary are a drill, file and some sandpaper.
To purchase the kit new (without the mods) is $375 and Orion DON'T include the azimuth encoder, this is usually already mounted on the Orion Dobs...the encoder would cost approx $50 to purchase seperately.
I have also included a carry case (not a factory feature)
The system is ready to mount on your scope....all this would be between $450-$500.....my price $250 + postage.
