Plastic or Vinyl Metal Reinforced sheds!

Hi All,

Has anyone used a shed like this for an observatory.
Duramate brand is now being sold in BigW.

http://www.duramatesheds.com.au/page...ate-8-x-6-shed

Also comes with optional Foundation kit. How difficult would these be to modify to a roll off or flip top arrangement. And what if any pitfalls are there with this type of shed.

I am considering calling Duramate and seeing if the could offer a modfication with Rails etc, like what another member has been able to get done for a tin shed in Melbourne.

Perhaps if there is enough interest they might offer a custom mod option.

Regards
Fahim

Needs a solid roof to be stable. Remove the roof without reinforcing the walls and the structure will collapse.

A purpose built shed would be cheaper and more functional in the end.

Yep, had to reinforce my shed roof with a wooden frame, Otherwise it was just like a sheet of Alum foil. Also the top edge of the shed as that also flexes if the roof is not attached.
