The Sun Dec 21 2021

I woke up this morning just before dawn only to be greeted by a thick murky fog. Knowing nice days can follow, I left my equipment set up ready for the Sun to break through. Finally I made a start in average seeing and recorded these images in CaK, Ha and a Baader Solar Continuum filter. For CaK and Continuum shots I used an Orion ED80T CF and for the Ha shot I used a single stacked 60mm Solarmax II.

Nice set of images Gerard. I esp. like the CaK (purple) ones.
