Eagle nebula narrowband

Around 9 hrs of data, taken from my backyard.

10inchF4, Paramount MyT.

Processed in startools.

Quite a dramatic scene Alistair.

You have acheived an interesting array of hue and contrast.

Is it art?

The answer is another question.

How do we reveal information that our scopes collect?

That's is one superb shot. The data from the highres is excellent. One for the cool wall. Well done.

Thanks, I guess you could call it art, I'm by no means an artist. Startools has some interesting presets that cover a wide gamut, so I like to experiment a bit. pushed the saturation a bit as well. guess that's the fun with narrowband. I do try and maintain details though. still a long way to go.

Thanks Marc, I'm trying to acquire as much data as I can to get sufficient details. The 10inchF4 helps, but not the seeing. had some high fwhm subs in this, but some careful decon does help.
