Hi all

Have been on here since mid 2011 and time to say hi. Like many I was into the stars as a kid. Grew up in Canberra and did astronomy as a Y11 subject. One of the good things was using the 9" Oddie refractor on Mt Stromolo every clear Wed night till all hours, very cold but amazing! Have learnt heaps on this fab forum.

Hi Matthew and welcome

As a kid I used to live in the shadow of Mt Stromlo and the pine forrest's.

We were always pedalling around there on our pushbikes, I used to always be in the main galleries staring at the big scopes.

Cheers
