Super Nova in M101

Having looked further into this event, it is apparent that only people in the far north of Australia are likely to be able to get their copes onto M101. That galaxy is just to low in the northern sky for most of Australia (according to Sky Safari Pro).

Yes unfortunately too low for us here. Iíve seen quite a few great pics online - it really is a beautiful northern target
