Lucky for me it was only 10 mins up the road :-). The bloke who served me was excellent and told me Sat is when to turn up for tips as a few of the local astronomers hang out there. Also has a good amount of links to local Astro Societies.

Hi Karl

Yeah, Ron is a good bloke although you need to watch out for that other bloke on Saturday - Peter Marples. He can talk the hind legs off a donkey.

His only saving grace is that he actually knows his stuff and has discovered a couple of supernovas!
