Rho Ophiuchi

Managed to get a few hours of imaging over July new moon. Bortle 3,Rcat 51, QHY600M, 20x180sec subs per channel. RGB. Conditions were not that great, very thin cirrus about, so a few subs rejected, but result not too bad. I was hopping to try again this weekend, but we are stuck at home!

Small version looks really nice. Can you post a larger image?

Greg.

very nice - i'm sure you could crank up the saturation a few notches too if you were inclined to do so

Cheers

One of the best Rho Oph complex shots I've seen, great work!
You've got some spacing issues (too much back focus? weird, because you're using a Petzval) and some pinched optics as well btw

That is an amazing image Luke! Great work!
I was just interested in your Tak CN212 and was looking through your images to see images taken through it.

Looking through your old posts, it seems like you went to DSO imaging wizardry school from 2014 to 2021 and came back to take shots like these
Cheers
