Hi Paul/
Is this the most current model of the 071?
I still use my canon 60d and this looks like a good option to jump to considering the pixel size is roughly the same- I use a 10” newt.
Cheers
Anthony

Hi Anthony,

To be honest I don’t know (I wasn’t aware of updates to this model). If I PM you the serial number would that help?

Cheers,
Paul

Thanks Anthony for the info.

All the best on your mono journey. I’ll get there one day myself.

Hi Paul,
Looking at your ASI 071MC Pro just now, I would like to know what you mean by "brand new desiccant tabs installed".
I am new to Astro cameras.
I have only briefly started using a Canon 60D with my old Vixen refractor ED80 600mm focal and am looking move into a proper Astro camera soonish.

Would your camera be a good match?

PM set

PM sent to Trevor.

For other readers, as much as I’d like to sell my camera, the 071mc is really for advanced users. I’ve recommended some other models to Trevor, along with using the Bintel tools to see how different models will perform with his optical setup.

071mc still available.

Cheers,
Paul
