This was taken about 8 months ago. Took a while to get it to where I wanrted it.
AP Honders 12 inch astrograph, PME mount, QHY600M Astrodon filters. 5 hours.

It feels good to get an image out. Its been a while.

My current favourite location to image, well done. I am thinking there may be a bit of purple in the dust area toward the top.

Thanks Malcolm. I have seen it look a bit purple in some mirrorless camera shots I did with a Redcat 51.

Well done !!
Yeah regular cloudy nights have been around since September , it’s been a tad frustrating. Can’t go on for much longer ?

Cheers Martin. Or can it?? I have lived in Sydney most of my life and have noticed the weather pattern of the first week in the new year tends to be the pattern for the first 6 months! I remember when it rained 5 out of 7 days and every weekend until May one year (late 80's).

Thanks Peter.
Its been a while since I did the main processing. Probably trimmed to get rid of the stacking borders but I don't think I cropped it now I think of it.

Thanks very much. The QHY600m is quite a sensitive camera and the AP Honders is F3.8 so very fast.
