I thought the forum would be chokka with pics, a shame the weather wasn't conducive. Clear here, and a great visual sight as well.
I used my trusty Zeiss ED80/840 refractor, and Leica SL at prime focus, on a CEM70 mount. (for the total eclipse a few months back I used the 10" f5 dob)
Took plenty of varying shots, some at higher ISO's, but most at ISO200. Tried varying shutter speeds as well, even some at 15 and 20 seconds duration. Cool to get the background stars in the shot.
That's a pretty sharp image. Always a good idea to take lots of exposures at different shutter speeds and different focal lengths as well if you have the equipment.
Great job Gary, lovely colours and I like the field stars too. I'll do some digging in what little data I managed to capture to see if any made it in there.
