Saturn and Jupiter Conjunction 19th Dec

The weather is still holding out....mostly. The 2 planets are close enough now to fit in the FOV of my 180mm Mack at 2700mm FL. My 120mc cam has too small a sensor for my larger scopes so I'll have to stick with the DSLR. Hopefully I can use the 120mc on the 10" newt at closest but it will be tight.

Cheers Rick

Success! Well done. I know from my attempts how difficult this is with a 'big rig'.

Thanks Mike and Trish, it's clear again tonight so hopefully I can up the magnification and capture a bit more detail.
