Where to get help?

hi guys i bought a c14 on a losmandy G11 about a year ago and i think im in way over my head. I really wanted to get into planetary photography but i cant even get my mount to track the planets properly.

Can anyone suggest where i can get some practical help? I just wanna take my 1st photo but nothing ever goes right!!!!

Hi Mark,

I got my G11 late last year and found this site www.gemini-2.com very helpfull.

Have you changed the tracking rate from sidereal to solar?
How good a polar alignment do you have?

Unfortunatly I can't give any real advice as it would be the blind leading the blind.

You need to join a local astronomy club! You'll be set straight before you know it. The experience will be great, I have no doubt.
