Using a C11 at F3.3 with an ST2000

Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me how the bad the vignetting would be when using a C11 with a Meade f3.3 focal reducer and a SBIG ST2000? I hear it's ok with a DSI but what about the ST2000?

Thanks,

Eris

I dare say it would be pretty bad Eris, I get a fair bit of vignetting on a DSLR sized sensor with the C11 @ F/6.3, the ST2000 (from memory) is the same height as the DSLR sensor, but not as wide, because its a square sensor... I think its a sure bet that the ST2K will vignette pretty seriously at 3.3..

Alex.
