Love that advert

Here is an extreme example of what not to buy in telescopes!

Geez, we're fools, Eric. Why did we fork out good money for an SDM Dob from Peter when we could have picked up one of these "machine-tooled" gems for $29.95?

That is a cack, thanks for posting, Eric

I think I will line up at midnight as they suggest as I really want to be "absolutely spellbound in my ringside seat as asteroids collide in fiery explosions".

That's why I never see the good stuff! Wrong telescope.

Holy COW,

Did I read that correctly? 40 X magnification????

That is so Deep Probe ultra far 100 billion miles megastupendous that apparently, Hubble is being decommissioned since this ad went to press as it has now been rendered obsolete!

Imagine, without one of these little rippers, I would NEVER get to see "asteroids collide in fiery explosions" !!!

I love how all that drivel and false advertising which in one moment says "up to 100 billion miles" and then talks about "thousands of light years away" can be neatly disclaimed in the fine print by saying "results depending on weather and eyesight" - nice.

Also, the tell you that there is FREE technical support available;

"Hello, technical support? I can't see ANYTHING in this 100 Billion Mile Telescope you sold me"

"Well sir, have you tried looking at colliding asteroids in the North Sky? There is one due to happen in about 15 minutes from now in the 8:00pm Most Spectacular Nighttime Fireworks Show in the World! Perhaps you have bad weather or bad eyesight?

"No, I think this is a piece of crap and I want my money back"

"Well I am sorry sir, but our records show that you actually bought up to the STRICT limit of 3 telescopes, so maybe you could try one of the other ones (giggling now) that we shipped you to be sure it's not your eyesight that is the problem (snigger)"

"I want to speak with your manager"

"Certainly Sir, one moment please, I will transfer you.....(HA HA HA HA HA HA)..."clunk" beep-beep beep-beep

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!"

Tell you what though, can you imagine how you would feel if you missed out on one of these babies at only $29.95 and ended up paying $199.95 for it????

Wait, I think that's the postman delivering mine now, got to go.......

Cheers

Chris
