Thanks John ..it was a great night when Mars was unbelievable in the 115mm ..so thought I'
d try my now gone 72ed ..it was there lovely..80 ed easy enough..though it likes aperture for the colours to truly show ..so 4 inch scopes and above ..
Its a shame most don't even know it exists the separation , colour and brightness difference better to me as it rewards patience than other showpieces such as Izar, Alpha Herculis, Delta serpentis , 95 Herculis, Gamma Delphinus, Eta , Rho and Beta Orionis, Antares and Almaak etc
