Hi All,
I recently got a bargain on Philips SPC900NC for AUD $ 48.00 so bought it instantly. I also got myself a W900NC-TF Mogg adaptor which has T-threads so that I can use it with my eyepiece projection adaptor.

Anyways so I opened the top silver cover on the lens of the SPC900NC and then unscrewed the lens to expose the CCD. The adaptor that I have has a very small neck and cannot go up till the CCD chip.
Followed steps given on :
http://www.astronomylog.co.uk/2007/0...spc900-webcam/
Do I need to open the complete webcam as shown here :

Because once the adaptor is connected I won't be able to conceal the circuit back into the webcam casing with the adaptor attached.
I would really appreciate any advice/suggestion. I really hope to get my setup ready for 24th feb. please help.
Thanks
Vivek
Also I found a freeware capturing software, so just wanted to share:
http://arnholm.org/astro/software/wxAstroCapture/ .... It works on Windows & Linux. I have tested it with my webcam and it works....just normal indoor testing.
