Hello all

Google directed me here, and "The Book of the Moon" by Rick Stroud directed me to Google, to find some local astronomy groups as a good way to get started. I'm from the Central Coast (NSW), and i'd be interested in heading to the Kulnura meet up sometime.

I've looked at the moon a few times through a telescope, and that's about the extent of my experience with amatuer Astronomy.

I'm completely Space/Science obsessed. When I'm not working, I'm reading Science Journals and articles and that's about it.
I'm studying catch-up mathematics at Uni to prepare me for first year Physics...It's more than daunting, but i'm determined.

Good idea, get along to a meet and see whats what before you spend $$$ in the wrong direction. Plenty of people on here willing to help you spend it ....
