Lovely shots, Hemi.

Looks like a really dark sky out there, too.

Very nice images
Did you happen to bump into "Mad Max"
while you were there?

Thanks everyone, im learning my way around Panoramas.

Silverton is quite dark in general. Bortle 2-3. The pub unfortunatly keeps their gazillion cafe lights on, which lights up a lot of the Mad max stuff.
The first shot was in a different spot, much darker and the airglow was amazing.
The next few nights i toured around Menindee, Mungo and Lake Tyrell. Exceptional skies, maybe the best ive been to. Certainly Bortle 1 at some spots.

Excellent work indeed, love the one with the old car the best, but they are all great images, well done.

Applause! Damn fine work.

I lived in Broken Hill for a couple of years as a younger fella, I know Silverton well. Nice to see that the skies are still spectacular.

I'm planning on heading there for the Mad Max 2 celebration next March, and was wondering if taking the astro rig along was a good idea or not.

Looks like it'll be a car-full-of-gear trip now!
