It actually went past here about 10:30 this morning. They accidentally sent it to Adelaide but it is on it's way back to the Melbourne Dock now!

Grrrreen with envy.
I can't wait to order mine.
The 10" really is the better choice. I was keen on the 8" because of the weight factor, but we've got a perfectly good trolly in the shed. I can just pad it up with wadding, then use it to push the scope down to the front paddock.
Have you got yourself a stepladder/stool yet? It would be a bugger to set it up, then not be able to look through it. LOLOL
PS. will someone remind me to purchase same, when my turn comes

Thanks jjj (not the radio station) nettie,

will keep everyone update. I have been getting a buzz about other forum users gettin new pieces of equipment. So it is only fair you guys get to share with me as well.

A step ladder, not to worry, mike's new scope buggys are petrol driven, awd and able to sleep 4 adults. there is a second deck for the pool / spa / bar and also a lazy boy recliner with projector feeding the images from the telescope to the cinema.

$500, pictures will be posted this weekend
