Jupiter + Io transit and Saturn August 1 2021

A pinch and a punch, wait, a Jupiter and a Saturn for the first of the month.
In the early hours between 12 - 1am. Nice and high at 81 degrees with good seeing. Saturn showing "bright ring effect" as it does near opposition. Jupiter with moon Io and shadow.

Skywatcher 300PDS 12" F5 Newtonian, Svbony SV305 standard version. Captured in Sharpcap, stacked in Autostakkert, processed in PS.

Kev,
Absolutely splendid planetary work here. Well itís case in point with the way your setup is working and the svbony is certainly holding its own with great detail captured. Do you require a filter with this camera for imaging planets or is this straight raw data?

Nice work Well done!

Anthony

Thanks Anthony. The Svbony SV305 has an inbuilt filter so no further filter needed. The ZWO 462 doesn't have a filter and requires one for imaging.
